Peace and Justice Grey Bruce

Dear Sir or Madam:

Thank you for your recent correspondence with regards to the missing persons' and murder investigation of Delores Brower.While the sequence of events concerning Ms Brower's disappearance and murder remain unknown, this case is in the hands of the RCMP and only the police can solve this unfortunate and tragic case. I trust that Ms Brower's family will find some solace in that her remains have been found and may be put to rest, ending a decade of uncertainty.

There have been over forty studies to date on the issue of missing and murdered Aboriginal woman in Canada, including the 2014 RCMP National Operational Overview which aims to increase targeted crime prevention, provide better community engagement and provide enhanced accountability for criminal investigations and will also assist to transition operational planning from the detachment to the national level.

This publication may be found at the link below;

It remains for our dedicated police services and judicial system to solve these crimes and to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Thank you for sharing your concerns and your interest in this issue.

Yours truly,

Larry Miller, MP

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound
