That Show Studios Presents “The Slim Buck Two Country and Western Special Christmas Show” starring Richard Knechtel as Slim and featuring a cameo appearance from Bob Menzies. The show is a combination of old classic and original seasonal songs intermingled with comedy sketches.
Another recent production for the Thatville gang is “Playing Guitars with Lloyd and Roger Williamson”.
The Williamson family is a well-known name in music circles in the area, and this show features Roger and his dad Lloyd (Or Lloyd and his son Roger) playing some of their favourite tunes. The show also features Makenzy Williamson, the next generation of Williamsons to enter the music business.
Both shows were taped live on location on the Thatville Sound Stages with The Mr. Bob Radio Show Moving Picture Company providing production services. The two shows will air the week before Christmas on Rogers TV Channel 53.
