Vimy Flight at the Billy Bishop Regional Airport has been cancelled.
The City of Owen Sound regrets to announce that the Vimy Flight has cancelled their July 12, 2017 visit to the Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport due to poor flying conditions.
The Vimy Flight consists of World War One Nieuport II, Sopwith Pup and SE5 biplane replicas built to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Four of the planes flew over the Canadian Vimy Memorial ceremony in France on April 9, 2017.
The Vimy Flight will be examining their schedule to see if they can work in a visit to the Owen Sound Billy Bishop Regional Airport at a later date.
