We had to wait an extra 24 hours, but the numbers are in.
Ian Boddy returns as mayor, and Brian O'Leary will be deputy mayor. These two will also sit on Grey County Council.

Although there were six women candidates running, gender parity

onlinevotingCandidates were collecting their signs; would-be voters were being disconnected on the phone and internet; frustrated voters were tearing up their letters thinking they were too late when the following media release was sent out:

onlinevotingSince the opening of voting on October 12th, more than 5,200 voters have cast their ballot for the Municipal Election. Voters have until 8:00 p.m. today to cast their ballot.
