The Municipality of Meaford is now accepting applications for the Community Well-being Bursary Program. The Program provides funding to assist with development or enhancement of events, programs and services that support community well-being for residents of the Municipality of Meaford. Consistent annual funding of up to $4,000 per organization for the four-year term of Council is available for community groups and non-profit organizations.A total of $40,000 per year is available to community groups over the four-year term of the program. Applications will not be solicited again until 2027.

Applications will be evaluated based on the following:

• Benefit to community safety and well-being, and alignment with the priority areas of the Meaford Well-being Plan
• Promotion of the Municipality’s vision, values, and strategic priorities
• Demonstrated organizational ability and financial management
• Other partners, other sources of funding, and support of volunteers

The deadline for applications is April 21, 2023. Applicants will be invited to present at special meetings of Council on May 8 and May 9, 2023.
