knitLearn to knit with a three part workshop - Knit 1, Purl 2 with instructor Ruth Saigle.

The workshop takes place at the Billy Bishop Home and Museum at 948 3rd Avenue West, Owen Sound. It will run Thursday August 11th, 18th, and 25th from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm. All you need is knitting needles and yarn.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of the art of knitting. By the end of the workshops you will be able to cast on stitches, follow a pattern and create a project. You can bring your own knitting needles and yarn if you want specific size and/or colour. There will also be limited supplies available for you to use and/or purchase to make your handiwork.

This workshop will be documented and an exhibit will be mounted at the end of the entire project highlighting crafts created during the project.

If you are interested in attending this workshop as part of our "Crafting Community" project, please register by calling the Billy Bishop Home & Museum 519-371-0031 or email at [email protected].
