The funeral procession starts up the 2nd Avenue hill on the way to Greenwood Cemetery.

A long line of cars made its way past a long line of people honouring Sharif Rhaman as his funeral procession travelled slowly from Owen Sound's mosque to Greenwood Cemetery Sunday afternoon.

In the evening hundreds walked solemnly, slowly, silently, from City Hall up 2nd Avenue East, pausing at the 900 block location of Mr. Rahman's iconic restaurant, The Curry House.

The community-organized silent honour guard lines the curbs as the procession from the Owen Sound Mosque turns off 6th Street East, Sunday, .

Hand made Bangladeshi flags honour Mr. Rahman's origins.

The Owen Sound community gathers in support, as they did Wednesday evening,  walking in a quiet vigil through the downtown core.
