Ontario Provincial Police LogoA motorcyclist was involved in a fatal collision on the Bruce Peninsula.

On the October 3, 2017 at 7:55 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 6 between Barrow Bay Road and Cemetery Road in Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.

Bruce Peninsula OPP officers arrived with members of the Northern Bruce Fire department and Bruce County EMS, to find that a Silver Pontiac G6 and a Black motorcycle were involved in the crash.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The driver of the Pontiac was assessed by EMS at the scene.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) attended the scene to assist the Bruce Peninsula OPP with this investigation.
