A woman walking south bound through the crosswalk at 2nd Avenue and10th Street West was struck by a pickup truck Sunday night around 9:30pm, as it made a westbound turn from 2nd Avenue West onto 10th Street. The truck was initially northbound on 2nd Avenue West. The vehicle was described as a pearl white, crew cab pickup truck with silver rims and grill. The pick up was last seen westbound on 10th Street West. The pedestrian was transported to hospital by Grey County EMS to be treated for minor injuries.

Police will be reviewing security camera video in an attempt to identify the involved vehicle. Police are asking the driver of the truck or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the investigating officer, Cst. Wild, at Owen Sound Police Service.
