Mlantz ospoliceThe Owen Sound Police Service is pleased to announce the addition of two new officers who will soon be supporting our community safety efforts in Owen Sound.

Constable Miranda Lantz, a Bruce County resident, received her badge in a swearing-in ceremony with Chief Craig Ambrose today after successfully completing her Basic Constable Training at the Ontario Police College. Constable Lantz will continue her training here in Owen Sound with her coach officer beginning Monday.

Cadet-in-Training Julie Wyville, a Grey County resident, will begin her Basic Constable training next week at the Ontario Police College and will return to Owen Sound in July to begin work with her coach officer.

Both new officers are very excited to be joining the Owen Sound Police Service and look forward to their new role in the community!
