The Great Lakes Winds has prepared an hour of some beloved music, and guest musician Tara MacKenzie is bringing some of her beautiful Celtic melodies to share this Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Winds repertoire is always varied. The May 1 concert at Central Westside Church (the band's usual rehearsal spot) will include some familiar Celtic numbers – like Annie Laurie and Mollie on the Shore - band classic When the Saints Go Marching In, classical and modern pieces and some solos by members of the band.
