dodge2005 caravan2On May 31, 2016 at 3:18 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a vehicle theft from the Daisy Mart parking lot located along Clinton Street south in Teeswater. Between 3:00 p.m. on May 31, 2016 and 3:15 p.m. on May 31, 2016, a Silver Dodge Caravan with licence #BEHC120 was taken. There is no estimate on the value of the stolen vehicle at this time.

A staff proposal recently submitted to the board's Policy Standing Committee recommends reducing the bus eligibility criterion for secondary students from 3.2 to 1.6 kilometres. This reduction would align with the current walk distance for elementary students.
