attack-red-regularThe Owen Sound Attack are set for their 1st weekend homestand of the 2014-2015 OHL season and it gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 4 against the Guelph Storm at 7:30 pm and will wrap up with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm against the Ottawa 67's. Undefeated in regulation, the Attack is 1-0-0-2 on the year after a pair of shootout losses to the Kitchener Rangers and London Knights. Head coach Greg Ireland said his team needed to get back to a hard work ethic in a week of practice leading up to the weekend's games. Overage forward Daniel Milne has two goals and three assists for five points in the team's three games so far this year, while captain Zach Nastasiuk has a pair of goals and assists. Defenceman Alex Annechiarico will be eligible to return to the line up for Sunday's game after serving a four game suspension.

Milne-regThe Owen Sound Attack has named overage forward Daniel Milne the Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 28th.

Milne started the season hot in the Attack's opener on Wednesday when he notched a goal and two assists in a 6-1 Attack win over the Kitchener Rangers. After being held pointless in a shootout loss on Friday, Milne picked up another goal and assist on Saturday night in a 4-3 shootout loss.

Shootouts are proving to be no friend of the Owen Sound Attack.

Two weekend games, two shootout losses for the Attack. First it was a 4-3 loss to the Kitchener Rangers Friday , then lost by the same score to the London Knights at home Saturday night.
