playground equipmentAs part of the Stage 3 reopening framework and in consultation with the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit, the City is reopening play structures in City parks and open spaces effective Friday, July 17 at 12:00 PM.

Outdoor recreational amenities across the Province were closed on March 31 by the Order of the Province of Ontario.

“I would like to thank the public for their patience during the ongoing reopening process”, stated Mayor Ian Boddy. “It will be great to see children and families enjoying our outdoor spaces again and I encourage everyone to do so safely.”

The City maintains 22 play structures in parks & open spaces. Play structures will not be sanitized or cleaned by City staff. Physical distancing must be maintained whenever possible in all parks and open spaces.
