Community-foundation-GB-fullCommunity Foundation Grey Bruce invites charities and nonprofit organizations across Grey and Bruce Counties to apply for grants before the spring deadline of April 15. An applicant's project must benefit local communities in one of the following categories: arts & culture, recreation, the wellbeing of children and youth, reduction of poverty, education, the environment or health & wellness of the people of Grey Bruce.

Community Foundation Grey Bruce produced its first Vital Signs report in 2016, containing data on health & wellness, arts & culture, education and lifelong learning, living standards, the environment, and community connections in Grey Bruce Counties. The statistics gathered in the Vital Signs report are indicative of needs to be addressed in our region. Applicants are asked to describe how their project addresses one of the indicators of community vitality as outlined in Vital Signs.
The online grant application will be open from January 30 until the deadline of April 15, 2017.

Organizations may access the online application form, assessment criteria and full Vital Signs report at www.communityfoundationgreybruce.com
Community Foundation Grey Bruce advises applicants to confirm the eligibility of their project before beginning the application process by contacting the Foundation office at 519 371 7203 during regular business hours.
