publichealthbuildingThe Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking assistance from the public in finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Owen Sound. On Tuesday, September 22, at approximately 7:00pm, a man was bitten by a brown and white boxer mix near the corner of 14th Street West and 4th Avenue West. The dog was at large; no leash or collar or owner present.

Staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
