Ontario Provincial Police LogoThe identity of the motorcyclist involved in a fatal collision has been identified.

On the October 3, 2017 at 7:55 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Highway 6 between Barrow Bay Road and Cemetery Road in Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.

The motorcycle rider, 38-year-old Edward (Chad) Honneyman of Wiarton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Bruce Peninsula OPP is continuing to investigate.
