drink-opp-fullCHATSWORTH - On Sunday, January 18, 2015 at approximately 4:05 p.m., Grey County OPP received a report of a vehicle that ran into the ditch after the driver failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection of Concession 2 and the Massie Road in the Township of Chatsworth.

The lone driver of the vehicle, a Toyota RAV 4 SUV, was found to have been drinking alcohol. Investigation revealed he was currently on a court order not to possess or consume alcohol. He was not injured as a result of the collision.

A 27-year-old Chatsworth man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle – over 80 mgs and breach of recognizance. He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing on Monday, January 19, 2015. His next court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2015 in Owen Sound.
