Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker has announced that local municipalities will receive a combined total of $5,944,642 from the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) . The Fund, established by the Liberal government in 2014, provides stable and predictable funding for communities with populations under 100,000, along with all rural and northern communities. Through the OCIF, Ontario continues to support municipalities as they build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure.

This year, municipalities in Bruce - Grey - Owen Sound will receive $5,944,642 to address their local community infrastructure needs. There was no increase over last year - the amount is identical to the 2020 grant - to the dollar.
