Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 10 in Chatsworth Township between a tractor trailer and a car.

Just before 1:30 a.m. Grey County OPP responded to a serious collision on Hwy 10 in Chatsworth Township between a tractor trailer and a car. It is unknown at this time the direction of travel for each vehicle.

Police were assisted at the scene by Grey County Paramedics and Chatsworth Fire Department. OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are attending for the investigation.

The driver of the car has been transported by ambulance to hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was treated for minor injuries and was released by paramedics at the scene.

Highway 10 between Holland Centre and Berkeley in Chatsworth Township is currently closed as police continue to investigate the collision.
