On March 30, 2019 the South Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended Sal's Suds Car Wash located on Brook Street in Tara for a report a motion alarm.

Investigation has revealed that unknown suspect(s) attended Sal's Suds Car Wash on March 30, 2019 at 3:22 a.m. and attempted to gain entry through a business window. A motion alarm was set off by the suspect(s) actions and police were dispatched right away. The suspect(s) never gained entry into the business and left in an unknown direction.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting the members of the public to notify police if they observed any suspicious behaviour around Sal's Suds Car Wash on March 30, 2019 between 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

Car washes in Chatsworth and Owen Sound were entered and cash was taken over Thursday and Friday nights last week.  The Grey OPP and Owen Sound Police services are looking for information on those incidents.

The Double Bubble Car Wash in Markdale was entered Saturday night, its alarm system damaged and video recording equipment stolen. The OPP and Owen Sound police would like to remind the public to report any suspicious behaviour to police right away.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information about the Tara incident that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
