Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and members of the Hanover Police Service worked together on a drug investigation that impacted communities in Grey County, Bruce County and Wellington County.

As a result of the investigation, members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) conducted a vehicle stop along Side road 5 in West Grey Township.

Following a search of the vehicle, police seized more than a kilogram of Methamphetamine and 336 Oxycodone pills. The combined, estimated value of the seized controlled substances is $108,350.00.

Police also seized a quantity of cash as offence related property.

A 45-year-old Hanover man was charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 7, 2020 to answer to the charges.

A 33-year-old from West Grey was charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 7, 2020 to answer to the charges.
