U19B July 7Orangeville hosted Ontario Women’s Field Lacrosse this weekend and the Owen Sound Hyundai U19-B Girls finished with a 1-1 record.

Defeating Newmarket-2 by a score of 11-3 before meeting up against a tougher Newmarket-1 squad and being on the losing end of a 14-3 game.

Next weekend’s action is in Halton Hills.

The European Bakery’s U15 Girls Field lacrosse team, first game was against Oakville, Owen Sound winning 11-7, goal scorers include; Gillian Goldie with 2, Karly Low with 1, Cassidy Low with 4, Emma Bryan with 2 and Dani Strong with 2.

The second game was against Orangeville, with Owen Sound winning 12-7. Goal scorers included Cassidy Low with 6 goals Karly Low with 2, Gillian Goldie with 3 and Ariana’s Jackson with 1.

The girls are currently at the top of the U15 standing.
