Do you have expertise, experience or energy to share? Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? The Municipality of Meaford is seeking volunteers to participate on its Economic Development Strategic Plan Task Force.

Applications are available online at www.meaford.ca/appointments or can be picked up at the Municipal office at 21 Trowbridge Street West. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 31, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Applicants must live, work, or own a property or business in the Municipality of Meaford.

Economic Development Strategic Plan Task Force

The Council of the Municipality of Meaford is looking to create and adopt a new comprehensive Economic Development Strategic Plan. Led by a consultant, the strategic plan will provide recommendations and actions in a 3-5 year timeframe. The Economic Development Strategic Plan Task Force shall provide the consultant with periodic input and feedback during the economic development strategic planning process. The Task Force will also assist staff by reviewing information provided by the consultant and will suggest recommendations for future implementation of the Economic Development Strategy.

Required: Five members
Meetings: Monthly, or as called by the CAO. Schedule TBD.
